Grew Energy to Set Up Solar Component Unit in Gujarat’s Dholera for Rs 3,800 Cr

In the presence of Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, Grew Energy signed a Rs 3,800 crore Memorandum of Understanding during the ongoing Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit. By 2025, the company plans to establish a 2.8 GW solar component manufacturing facility at Dholera, according to a press statement. The government of Gujarat will expedite the unit’s creation procedure and assist the required clearances through this Memorandum of Understanding.
According to Grew, this investment will contribute to the creation of jobs for more than 1,600 people in and around Dholera, the announcement stated. According to Grew, the Rs 3,800 crore investment is the largest in the company’s history. It will be financed by a combination of external money and internal accruals.
Vinay Thadani, Director and CEO of Grew Energy Private, said “We plan to commence the establishment process of our Dholera unit, in 2025 and envision this to be a cornerstone for the company’s growth and future expansion plans. It will give a tremendous boost to our vision of emerging as one of the leading players in the renewable energy ecosystem in the country”
